New Look Birkdale Fair

In July 2006 Birkdale Fair underwent extensive renovations where the centre was transformed into a state-of-the art retail facility with specialised features catering to customer needs.

The renovations have included new vibrant exterior with superior outdoor lighting, new external awnings to protect customers from the weather and a series of upgrades and repairs to the carpark and trolley bays.

The pathways have been widened and resurfaced to more readily cater for passing prams, trolleys and wheelchairs.

The internal floors have been resurfaced in sleek terrazite and the halls have been widened to cater for the heavy flow of traffic.

Restroom facilities including the disabled toilet have been refurbished with a modern fit-out tailored to customers' comfort.

The new parent's room and disabled toilet have a touch control sliding door.  In the parents room there is a lengthy vanity bench with large stainless steel sink, microwave, nappy disposal unit and a baby change station. 

With a light-indicator locking device, mums and dads can conveniently and privately tend to their babies needs in luxurious surrounds.
